Warcraft 3

We use to play Dota Allstars on it on Garena if you remember it, it was a platform for warcraft maps and not only it was good at many games, but we played dota and tried to get up the ladder it was some sort of ranked system they called back in 2000 the ladder, now it’s called ranked. When I discovered World of Warcraft I got hooked instantly on it it was amazing such a game could be made so I couldn’t quit it, with one exception, either I played Dota and get rid of WoW or I stuck with wow, in that time the only way I could escape WoW was to play dota Allstars that map to me was like getting clean of any addiction I think I could even stop smoking cigarettes if I play dota I could quit anything by playing the original Warcraft 3 maps or dota it was just a game made to me for being an addiction removal hobby. But I didn’t quit WoW I quit Dota instead because things evolved, games evolved and now it’s dota 2 better than the original one in Warcraft 3 maps. I could use Warcraft 3 now to quit my addiction to other games but it wouldn’t be necessary because now I need them for fun. Whenever I played Warcraft 3 I had that feeling that you can be the best in the game, I’m talking about dota here, you could defeat anything and any player if you have the necessary items and a good hero. They had overpowered items in the game, and they still do they have items like Mask of Madness or Divine Rapier and things like that, Black King Bar which gave you avatar to be immune to spells for a while. they had great items, and the original maps the usual ones were a bit boring but would require some strategy to play them and you could learn something from that, it is war strategy in a virtual world as a simulator for the real thing you can make a virtual world where you can battle therefore in actual reality you can maintain the peace while simulating your warlike features where no harm is done. This is the perfect thing, in an ideal world you could maintain the peace forever like this, releasing all your anger on like a target dummy means no human is harmed, which will benefit to all. So basically what your doing in the game is a simulation of what you can do in reality but instead of doing the real thing you just simulate it, it’s like training to be a pilot, you can do the actual thing before you train for it, but there is no need for wars I think it’s just the domination process that kicks in we all want to win right? That’s true

And again I’m posting a post about WC3, who cares anyway, it’s the most nerfed game ever, with all the handicap options you might never know who might just ditch you.

Warcraft, The Games

The thing about Warcraft 3 all expansions is that being a strategy based online game, it is not that difficult to cope with you have like the following races: Night elves, Undead, Orcs and Humans, so it’s pretty simple to choose between them you can actually play consecutive races one after another, it’s not a big deal anyway anyone can play it and it’s not that expensive either, I only have Reign of Chaos and The Frozen Throne bought so I need to get as soon as possible the Reforged expansion so I can see how things are going in the Warcraft World.
The strategy is that you have to build an army of forces of your chosen race and battle agains the other races but it’s not quite like that it’s just like you can have an orc versus an orc race or human versus human so it does not really matter which race you play all that matters is the real team, you got that? it matters where you select your team, it does not matter which race you play, that would say could be racism in Warcraft but it isn’t it’s about faction not racism, so anyway the thing is you select a race, and after that you select a team, you can have any color you want that not important, what matters the most is your team if you play 2v2 it’s fine if you play 1v1 it’s all good you can even play 3v3 or 4v4, it’s important that you have real balance in your game so you will have a good game while playing it.
What matters the most is not who wins but who has the most fun while playing the game, if you’re not having fun the why do you bother playing it in the first place, games are made to be fun so people enjoy playing them not stressing out because I win and you lose or you win and I lost that’s not the point, a win today could be a loss tomorrow or a loss today could be a win tomorrow, a good friend of mine said one thing “It does not matter how many defeats we encounter, all it matters is that we will not remain defeated” So this is it this is the quote this is about never giving up when you want to win, you can win today but you can lose tomorrow you can never know what the chances are man, the enemy could be better it happened to me so many times, but if I play one of my strongest heroes I can secure the win very easy.

The point is Warcraft 3 is that it’s a strategy game not a moba or mmo, and the difference between them are really not that big, them look alike somehow. It’s perfect when you find like a buddy or a friend to play with, these games can be very boring if you would have played them all alone, the interent is full of people who you can team up with so, find your friends and enjoy this awesome Blizzard Entertainment video game 🙂

Phantom Assasin Gameplay

Ok so another one of the moba’s (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) I play is Dota 2, Dota 2 is the next game from Dota allstars from Icefrog a warcraft 3 map. I want to post this because I’ve played for a while Dota 2 now and I wanna say it’s the hardest moba I’ve ever played.
In this game one player geared enough can make a penta kill very easily, take for example phantom assasin with Skull Basher, Vladimir’s Offering, Butterfly, Power treads, Deadalus and Black King Bar, this is one of my builds that you can’t even counter I mean she is immune to spells while Black King Bar is active and the other damaging + lifestealing effects really tear one by one any opponent.
Of course there could be a N’aix around there very well geared up and destroying everything but N’aix is actually a tank shredder more than a assasin shredder so Phantom assasin with his evasion spell and the butterfly effect could easily dodge almost all of N’aix’s attacks in my opinion.
Not to mention her ultimate wich is almost 4X critical strike you can crit above 1k damage easily plus the added critical strike from the items, seems a good combination.
The added stun effect from Skull Basher wich can be improved in Abyssal Blade, has stun effects on click and has a cooldown, so there is a chance to crit enhanced by items a chance to stun opponents on hit an a chance to dodge enemy attacks also enchanced by items, the lifesteal is for some extra life boost in difficult situations where you need survivability and added with the Black King Bar wich means immune to stun effects and spells for about 10 seconds you are unstoppable.
This is just one example I tell you guys about dota 2 and how I play mortred the phantom assasin, I haven’t recorded any videos yet because I’m thinking that my recorder wouldn’t work properly on dota, or if I think about it better I should try it, but as I said Dota 2 is a really hard game for me and not always do I perform my best, I know all the tactical strategies but my reflexes got a little rusty in the game.
I’ve been so well accustomed to Heroes of the Storm that I haven’t played Dota 2 for a while because I can’t play all the games at once every time lol.
So my point with mortred is that in Dota 2 you have the capability with one super overpowered and geared hero to finish all your enemies very fast and win the game for your team, alothough farming in jungle is a fast way to make gold the best way to earn gold is by defeating enemies that’s the highest gold ranking especially when you’re with mortred so I would play like this:
  • try getting some items early with some gold farmed from minions
  • try scoring a kill for your team
  • and try to actually snowball from enemy kills and minions
I think farming in jungle is overrated in Dota 2 because you can get easily ganked, and yes you can get ganked or gank them yourself it’s up to you if you’re a slowpoke or a real quick player.
I usually try to tank them as soon as I get some movement speed and after that I return to base or something like that in order to avoid further conflict on the map.
It’s pretty hard to defeat someone who is like 2v1 or 3v1 unless your very geared and a fast gamer, I don’t usually put that much effort into playing, If I’m not having fun I won’t play it but that dosn’t mean I’m gonna exit the game when I’m losing, I usually finish the game and after that I’m deciding on what to play or something to do with my spare time.
I always play agility heroes in Dota 2 I don’t really like intellect or strenght heroes, My preferences are Agility>Strenght>Intellect, in this order so yeah me playing Slark and being invisible on the map all the time with Shadow Blade really is my style of playing.
I used to play Troll Warlord allot but with the new chances I kinda preferred something else I usually opted for Drow ranger as a ranged assasin or adc as you would call it 🙂

Dota Allstars

I want to talk about a little about Warcraft 3 and Dota and how I first started playing MOBA games, obviously, dota Allstars was my first MOBA game played as of most people.
I didn’t become addicted to the game instead when I was playing the game I found out that my addictions were leaving me, I was playing dota Allstars and World of Warcraft which is a highly addicting game and I discovered that while playing dota I didn’t feel the need to play WoW so I just thought I could quit WoW for dota but that wasn’t the case.
Many plays and heroes from the old dota game I’ve played there were OP, I always play OP champions in MOBA games because I prefer winning instead of losing, sometimes losing is a choice, If you want to win bad enough in a game you win but if you don’t seek the winning streak far enough you will lose, so I always played overpowered heroes like Pudge, Clinkz, Huskar, Axe, Sniper, Void, Slark, Balanar, and Zeus, and there was this guy Naix which I considered it was the best tank shredder cause he would feast on the enemy’s health bar, the higher the health the more life steal and damage he did so he was the perfect counter for tanks.
As I look back to my Dota Allstars playing time which was a long time ago I recall some of my item builds wich they were not that good but you had to get them, there was this divine rapier wich it cost about 4000 or 5000 gold and wich it was dropped on death, unfortunately so the enemy team could pick it up if you died with that item on, but it had like +240 damage bonus so if you had an approximately immortal hero or you wouldn’t die it was worth the gold like Abbadon which had an ultimate the longer you hit him the more hp he got back with healing, that hero with divine rapier would tear the enemy team apart, and I liked in dota that you with an overpowered hero could do some Penta kills as league of legends says it the had monster kills in the game, I’m talking about the voice-line when you fragged a champion.
So yeah this one this game warcraft 3 I think it’s the only game for me that while playing it I could battle all my video game addictions and even real-life addictions, it’s a very clean game and although it’s an old one I still bought it for my collection and If I wanna play it I can always go right ahead and start a new dota game on battle.net
Now blizzard wants to make a new series of warcraft 3, Its name is Warcraft 3 Reforged, I didn’t buy it yet but maybe I will in the future, who knows?

I always wanted to experience all that the game has to offer and simply have fun with it, in fact it’s my passion and I always enjoy a well-made game, so I think Blizzard is one of the best gaming companies out there for the many interesting games they make and especially for the story which is very captivating to me.
