Competitive Gamestyle

Some of the most competitive games I’ve played are MOBA games this includes League of Legends, Dota 2, Dota Allstars, Heroes of the Storm after that comes the shooter games like Counter-Strike and Overwatch, Call of Duty and Destiny 2. In my opinion, MMO-RPG games like World of Warcraft, Metin 2, Diablo, etc are not that competitive to me, there are strategy games Like starcraft Broodwar and Starcraft 2, Warcraft 3 Reign of Chaos and Warcraft 3 The Frozen Throne, including Warcraft 3 Reforged.

Competitivity in games are crucial for the number of players they play them, some of us may prefer more competitive games like MOBA games, some of us may like strategy games more like Starcraft 2, maybe the most people that play PC games play shooters. But I’m strictly referring to the ones I’ve played and I have experience in so I can make something out of it, when I play video games I see a lot of patterns going around the game, like maps, abilities, items, and players.

How you manage to control these patterns will determine the fact that you will lose or win the respective match. Sometimes you don’t get things right because you may think it’s all a big chaos and nothing is arranged properly but most of the things in games make you develop a strategic way of thinking on how to conquer your opponents and depending on the games you like will determine the way of thinking your game. Let’s put it this way, maybe League of Legends makes you develop very high reflexes or Starcraft 2 makes you think more strategically on where to put your units in when to attack when to defend, where to go on the map after you got a lot of units or how to help an ally when in danger.

MMO-RPG games, on the other hand, are another fish food, they give you freedom to do anything you want to do in-game as long as you play it, you can do almost anything in an MMO-RPG they will develop all sorts of new things new content that will enable you to do anything in the game just to get you hooked up to the game and have fun playing it, they will even make you remember the times you played with your friends 5 years ago and make you wanna hang out in WoW again. So the way they think the game is like there are no rules. You can even attack your faction with the duel action or in arenas it’s like Horde Vs Horde sometimes it doesn’t matter that’s why MMO-RPG is a free environment based game you chose what to do and when to do it but it has a lot of farming to it.

Each type of game has its unique preferences maybe you are a casual like me and like to enjoy playing, hating the competitive ones because they make you all angry and stuff like that when you die and lose the match. Yeah, that’s the point in why so many people play MMO’s like WoW now because they don’t seem to like that competitivity they want to be comfortable while playing just enjoying the game and be risk-free.

They don’t want that savage adrenaline when you get a Penta-kill in ranked with Zed, most people couldn’t do that, I can’t even do it, not with Zed any way. World of Warcraft is only competitive in arena or battlegrounds and it can’t compare to LoL ranked system, League of Legends is way harder than WoW. But I guess if you ever get bored of WoW you can always try Diablo it’s almost the same thing, at least to me.

I want to mention as an ending to this post that people say Heroes of the Storm is dead because developers leave the company, I don’t know what to say about that, I can tell you although that Heroes of the Storm is a MOBA game and probably the least competitive MOBA game I’ve ever played. You have to be a very lazy MOBA player to play Hots man it’s the easiest game in the industry I win 8 out of 10 quick matches in Hots on a good day if I play Butcher or Varian, and I’m a casual, how is that hard? Anyway if you are a beginner to MOBA games try Heroes of the Storm, it’s the easiest one out there.
